Arp ISD wishes to thank everyone for their support in passing this Tax Ratification Election (TRE). The issue overwhelmingly passed with a 93% approval by the community. This will greatly benefit the school district and our community.

We need your HELP!
Our East Shore Estates Board has reviewed this material and as a CPA with some knowledge of Arp ISD asked me to do the same and post the information on our website. It is important that you go vote and support this Tax Ratification Election (TRE) issue on the ballot so Arp ISD will have access to an additional $400,000 in state funding without increasing our local taxes! This is simply a legal tax election maneuver which over 300 school districts in Texas have done in the past 8-9 years. Overton ISD just passed their TRE in September.
If you have any questions after reading all of the attached material I would strongly encourage you to attend the next Arp ISD public meeting at the Arp High School on Thursday December 3, 2015 at 6:00PM and get your questions answered.

Please be on the lookout for individuals dumping trash in the area, and report it to the Smith County Sheriff's Office ASAP. It has become an increasing problem in our area and the Sheriff's office is combing through any trash being dumped and will prosecute those involved.
